POLIO FUNDRAISER AT ACES BALLPARK

Members of the Rotary Club of Tahoe-Incline recently raised $350 for the global fight against polio by sponsoring a Rotary Night at the Ballpark for club members.  Each of the 35 attendees contributed $10 help support Rotary International’s efforts to eradicate this disease.

Since 1979, Rotarians have helped immunize more than 2 billion children against polio in 122 countries.  Rotary International, along with its partners, has reduced polio cases by 99 percent worldwide since its first project to vaccinate children in 1979.
