Rotarians at Work Day
Thanks
to everyone for showing up and working hard. It was nice to do something
special for our community and show the community Rotarians in action.
Selling Duckies
So far, very few Rotarians have helped to sell duckies in front of Raleys on the
weekends. Remember that this is a major
fundraiser for our club. We are one of
only three organizations collaborating on Red White and Tahoe Blue and will
share in all of the profits. Please plan
to help next weekend and/or on July 3 to sell duckies
and help with the race. Contact Allen Ferris to sign up: AFerris417@aol.com

Please check out the website to see all the wonderful
events that are scheduled and plan to spend the day on July 3 helping out. http://www.redwhiteandtahoeblue.com/
Relay for Life
Our club is again participating in Relay for Life this
year. Mark the dates of July 24/25 on
your calendar. We will have a booth set
up with water and a few chairs near the Northwest corner of the field. Sue Welsch will hand out luminaria
bags during the two meetings preceding the event and will be asking for
donations, which can be billed through the club.

A Message from Gary Lee
Attending weekly meetings holds the club together, and
is a great indicator of how well our club is functioning. The following
members should be proud that their attendance, including makeups,
is above 90% for the year. These members help make our club work.
Randy
A, Ellen C, Mike C, Marianne E, Dennis J, Gary L, Bob M, Bruce M, Mike M, Steve
M, Geno M, Diane M, Shawn N, Barbara R, Thalia R, Bob S, Wend S, Sue W, and Ginny Y.
Thanks to all those who continue to support our club through
attending weekly.
Membership
Several of our members have requested a leave of absence and
we hope that they will be back soon.
Meanwhile, the board would like to see the membership increase, so be on
the lookout for new quality members.
The PDF file of a new member proposal form is on our
Tahoe Incline website, www.tahoeinclinerotary.org. After a proposed member has attended at least
three meetings, please complete this form and turn it in to John Paganelli.
Makeups
Members can make up any missed meeting within two weeks
before or after a miss. Please email
Marianne Ericsson at ericsson775@hotmail.com.
