Meeting on August 7

Noreen Leary from the Veteran’s Guest House was our speaker. Jim Jervey was acting president, so there were no fines.  This Veteran’s Guest House is like Ronald McDonald house for veterans and their families when one of them is being treated at the VA hospital.

Meeting on August 14

The district governor of our district 5190, Wyn Spiller, was our speaker, and she explained the Rotary International goals for this year.  She also presented awards to two new Paul Harris members, Mark Pardue and Kathie Maxwell.  She honored Gary Lee as our latest Paul Harris Society member and Francesca Bero with the Quiet Rotarian award.

Fireside on August 22

We are meeting on Friday at 6 PM for a Fireside.  This Fireside will focus on our Spring Project for Rotarian’s at Work Day on April 25, where we will be working with other clubs to do some renovation and clean-up in Kings BeachGary will explain the process to us.

This is an important and valuable project as it is exemplary as to what we do as Rotarians in Service for others.

Please join us on Friday at Gary and Jennifer Lee’s home at 716 James Lane in Incline, which is off of May's Blvd. Make a right turn onto Allen Way  and then left off of  Allen Way onto James Lane.

The dinner theme is RIBS. If you did not sign up at the meeting, then please email Sandra at to let her know what you would like to provide for the pot luck.
