Rotary Club of Tahoe-Incline

Meeting on July 31

We were unexpectedly moved to a room that was way too small with not enough seats for everyone. Reuben scrambled to find more chairs and eventually everyone was seated.

Jean Klein and Karen Keuhnis from the Incline Hospital Auxiliary talked to us about the upcoming golf and poker tournament Sink ‘em and Hold ‘em on September 18. We are one of the three organizations holding this event. The third organization is the Children’s Cabinet. All proceeds go to the other two organizations and we provide the manpower and womanpower. Every Rotarian is expected to participate in some way. You can play golf in the tournament, sign up to be a sponsor, or work on the day of the event. Sign-up forms were distributed. If you missed the meeting, then contact Gary Lee to sign up.

Ginny Yates was inducted as a new member, bringing us up to 51 members and one honorary member.

Sandra Richards announced that we will be holding a Fireside at the home of Gary Lee at 716 James Lane on August 22. This is a potluck as usual and the theme will be Ribs, so sign up with Sandra to tell her what you will be bringing.

The current address list for our club has been sent in a separate attachment. Please let Sue Welsch know of any changes and please tell her your cell phone number.

Makeups

Marianne Ericsson reminds members to make up any missed meeting within two weeks before or after a miss. Please email her at ericsson775@hotmail.com.
