Meeting May 8
Gary Lee took the podium in the absence of our president.
Our speakers were Jill Faman
and Allison Becker, who are both Americorps members
working for the Tahoe Rim Trail Association.
They gave an interesting talk explaining about a new program this summer
for youth, ages 13 to 15. This will be
two youth back country backpacking trips, one for each gender. They also handed out calendars to all who
were present.
Sandra Richards reminded everyone about our fireside on
May 15 at the Thunderbird Lodge. Dress
is any interesting costume. We will meet at the

. Our speaker was Judge Bob Perry, who presided
at the lawsuit of three Nevada Women against Wyeth. These women all claim that taking Prempro, which is a hormone replacement therapy
manufactured by Wyeth, contributed to their subsequent breast cancer. One of the defendants, Arlene Rowatt, is from
