Music Contest Today

Thalia Routsis, our Youth Coordinator, provided another interesting program today. We had our annual music contest and were thrilled to the viola music of Autumn Burnett and the original guitar compositions of Jordan Smith. Jordan walked away with first place, but both will move on to the area contest in April.

Board Meeting Today

Your board had a meeting today and approved a few expenditures along with a new policy giving our president Bob the authority to approve donations under $500 without board approval ahead of time. Expenditures over $500 will still need board approval. The board reemphasized our club’s commitment to education. The club also approved the expenditure of funds to cover a club website, which will soon be up and running with all club information.

Makeups

Marianne Ericsson, our club secretary, reported that many of you are not reporting makeups to her. You need to make up any missed meeting within two weeks before or after you miss. Please email her at ericsson775@hotmail.com.
